I have a book of Maxwell's that date back all the way to 1640 that starts out with James Maxwell of Calderwood, Scotland. If interested please contact me it has several generations of Maxwell's and whom they married as well as maps of where they lived in Scotland and also a map of the U.S. immigration of the Maxwell's. It also has all the different castles as well as motto's coat of arms and a different colored tartant than what I have seen so far it is Red with navy blue plaid? Any help on that would help me out maybe its just a deviation of the red and green I don't know. Thanks for your time.
