Through a lot of research I have found that I am a descendant of Maxwell who was executed in 1613 for the murder of James Johnston. I can trace my line uninterupted all the way to the first Earl of Morton. I am looking for stuff back beyond that. I have some But I also have a lot of gaps. Any help would be appreciated.
