The earliest record we have of our family is my 7 Great Grandfather, Andrew James Maxwell, sailing from Belfast with his wife, (Anna Williams) and 2 unnamed brothers on May 2,1745. They arrived 62 days later on July 2,1745 in Wilmington, North Carolina and settled in Henderson County,N.C.
