Did you mean 'Somerset' KY? Did Dewey have an older brother named Charles Washington Maxwell? (He often reported his middle name as 'William' - I can see why. ;) ) He was my grandfather (1896 - 1977). If so, their parents were William Harrison Maxwell (1867 - 8 Sep 1908) and Ellen Roberts (no dates) - both of Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY. If this is your line, then I believe your mother and my father were cousins. Dewey also had another brother and two sisters. Let me know if these are your relatives, and I'll forward more info.
