Thomas Maxwell thought to have been from Aberdeen and born around the 1790 to 1800s. A mariner who knew how to build ships with 2 masts. Described as a Gentleman /Mariner /Trader. May have had connections to the following names Sarah (possibly his first wife), Robert, John, George, James, Patrick and Andrew. Was thought to have left Scotland in the company of brothers and/or cousins who settled in other lands. May have been aboard a whaling barque called the "Harriet" Missing presumed drowned in New Zealand 1842 |
