I believe I am a descendant of Archibald S Maxwell and Mary Neel. My Archibald was reportedly born in 1782 in Ireland and lived in Blount Co.,Tenn before showing up in the 1850 Census in Crawford Co., IL.as 68 yr's old and Mary, 63. Mary was from NC. They had sons Robt. C. b.1825, Archibald G.,1816 and possibly John C. or John G. (wife Catherine, children, Bell Maughlin, and Retta.)  My GGGrandfather Wm. was a son of Robt. C. b. 1854.  He had a brother Benjamin and a Sister, Rebecca. I would appreciate any info you might have of this line of Maxwells. Thanks, Sara
