We have no information on this William Maxwell-Nancy Simpson.  Our William was married to a Charity ?.  However, it has been suggested he might have had a 1st wife that probably died before he married Charity.  First child born in NC in 1805.  William was in Georgia by 1812 because his wife Charity is listed in church minutes as joining a church in Twiggs County.  We don't have their marriage dates just that both came from NC.  Just inquiring about this marriage above to see if we could get enough information to rule out or not if this was our William.  Wish we could help.
