John Maxwell, Army Surgeon during Napoleonic Wars, died Drumquin Ireland 1840. Eldest son,Lt/Col John Maxwell B 1776, believed migrated to Canada 1813. Another son Edwin migrated to Australia. Other sons were Thomas b 1777,surgeon, Francis L/t RN b 1789. I have the Australian descendants but am seeking info on the Canadian connection or any info on John snr's ancestry. |
