I would be very surprised if your great great grandfather William Alexander Maxwell  was the only William Alexander Maxwell who ever lived!  If you want to find out more about him or maybe get some help on this forum you would have to give some more information about him such as how old was he when he died, where had he come from when he went to Malawi, what nationality was he?  Without this information no-one can help you.  Also, what is Mandala?
