My grandfather was born in Kirkcudbright in 1880 His name was "William Kelly Maxwell" i am part of the second family he started in Alberta Canada. My Fathers name was Terry Dean Maxwell. i too am curious on the history of my name. i am currently trying to locate more family member in my area.
