Gord, I believe I have talked with you in the past.  What kind of info are you looking for? My father My dad Gary Maxwell has been handed the family bible and it has made its way from Scotland through the first born of each generation.  My Grandfather lloyd who is still alive and golfing at the age of 86, passed it on awhile back.  Once Dad is finished with it I will become the keeper as I am the first born in my family.  It has lists of people and their birth and death days and who they marrid and who their children are. It is quite fascinating.  Did you know that Thomas was quite a musician, he taught music in the Tamarisk district, as he was one of the pioneers in the district. Before he came to Canada, he was a blacksmith in Arbroath.  We actually have a picture of him in front of his residence and shop.  It is funny how you can look at a picture of a man 100+ years back, such as Thomas  and then look at my Uncle Randy Maxwell and see there is quite a resemblance, minus the styles of the day.  Anyhow, Thomas was born on Christnmas day I believe in 1884 or 85 and he is buried at the Tamarisk Cemetery.  The Tamarisk Church which was built in about 1907 still stands and hosts the odd service and has been labelled a Canadian Heritage Site.  I was at a wedding there last year.
