Hello Lisa, A Thomas Maxwell (b 1803) died in Shettleston, Glasgow in 1868 - the only one listed with the birth date of 1803. If you log on to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and register you could get a copy of the death certificate - it costs £6.00 for 30 credits - it costs 1 credit to see the index and 5 credits to see a certificate which you can print out as often as you wish. If this is your husbands 4th Gt grandfather the DC should give you the names of his parents,his wife,occupation,cause of death,who registered death etc. Hope this might help.  - Jack.
