looking for  the tie in to the Martin family.  Must be a female Maxwell married to a Martin.  Before 1861.  The last name i have is Robert Gorley Martin probably born in albion Pa.  He married minnie allen in Neb. They had Wilbert Maxwell Martin Sr. He named his son the same. That being my father, Wilbert Maxwell Martin Jr. He had no sons.   Passed down by mouth our relationship to maxwells.  Its said to james clerk maxwell who actually is a clerk  and only a maxwell through some distannt maxwell. dorothea clerk-maxwell a great grandmother.  Hope someone is following the females not just the males
