I am completely stuck at William Maxwell. My grandfather made some great charts but died before he could work on the Maxwell side. (Lascelles, Wm's son, was married to Grace Georgiana Tone, the only descendant of the Irish Leader, Theobald Wolfe Tone.) I thought it would be easy to find Lascelle's ancestors as the Maxwell family used the name "Lascelles" left & right!! Not to mention, it being an unusual name. All I have on my grandfather's chart, by Lascelle's name, is the name, Hannah Lascelles (with a question mark where his mother or g-mother's name would be...then, way at the top, there is the name, Hugh Maxwell. Do any of these names ring a bell? I am named after Lascelles Maxwell...so this feels kind of personal. Can anyone give me any ideas on where to look?
