I am trying to trace my Maxwell roots back through whom I believe is my g-g-grandfather, Charles B. Maxwell. Charles B. Maxwell was born in Vermont, ca. 1831, death date unknown. He later moved to Boston, MA. He had three children, Charles Jr., Leonora, and my g-grandfather, John Frank Maxwell, who was born ca 1857. These names were listed on an 1860 census taken in Boston, MA. The same census listed the wife of Charles B. Maxwell as Ellen, same age as Charles. Charles Jr. was five years older than John, and was supposed to have moved out to the Midwest, possibly Missouri. Leonora was nine years older. John Frank married my g-grandmother, Emily DeButts in 1887 in Revere, MA. After he and Emily divorced, he married two more times, his last wife being named Bertha. In later years, he lived in NYC, where he worked at Radio City Music Hall as a decorator. He died in NYC in 1932. On the marriage license to Emily, John Frank listed his mother as Mary A.(possibly Mary Ellen), and had her born in Scotland.  Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.
