My grandmother was Bessie Lee Maxwell.  I have seen one tree online that lists a Stonewall Maxwell as a brother for her born 1890.  No such person exists unless it was an infant that died that I never heard about.  My grandmother did have an uncle named Stonewall Duffee.  I am interested in the Maxwell line.  Her father was Allen Tupper Maxwell.  His parents were Milton Greenberry Maxwell and Martha Ann Royal.  Legend is that Milton Greeneberry Maxwell was hung after the Civil War for stealing a horse while trying to get home.  I have only word of mouth for that.  Let me know if we have any common connections.  If so, I would like to speak with you.
