I am the grand daughter of Beatrice Maxwell who was the youngest child of James and Mary Maxwell .I am  Great granddaughter of James Maxwell who you mention.  We have a lot of information on our family.  Maxwell Bay of lake Minnetonka was named for the family. We trace our family back to Dumfries Scotland as far as Francis Rufert Maxwell Born 1720 Dumfries, Scotland
