Robert Alexander Maxwell b 1832 Park Head, Scotland, d 17 Jul 1922, m. Mary Elizabeth Shepard 1855.  He is my GGGrandfather.  Robert either immigrated or was naturalized in the US in 1866 per US Census record.  I have one record that I'm sure is his that states that his father's first name was Robert, also from Scotland, but that is as much as I can trace.
