Hi Jenny, Elizabeth Maxwell is my 4th Great Grandmother.  I descend from Elizabeth Maxwell and Andrew Crozier's son William.  I have a copy of the deed in which the Maxwell heirs sold their property in Sadsbury Twp., Chester Co. PA in 1779.  I also have a copy of the Agreement for sale when John Maxwell purchased this land from Andrew McClary in 1760.  It states that John Maxwell was of Salisbury Twp., Lancaster Co., PA at that time.  In the Sadsbury Twp. Tax and Exoneration lists, John is reported to be a shoemaker.  He passed away in 1771 without leaving a will.  I have a copy of his estate papers. All of these records are posted in his profile on my Ancestry Family Tree.  I haven't ever seen his name listed as David.  The Findagrave memorial lists the Maxwell sisters parents names as John D and Margaret Pierson.  I've come across records for a John D and Margaret Pierson from WV but the dates are no where close enough for this to be John and Margaret Maxwell.  I've been searching for the parents for John within the Chester Co. and Lancaster Co. Maxwells and haven't figured anything out yet.  Also, have been trying to figure out Margaret's maiden name. I took a DNA test through Ancestry and was able to assuredly place Andrew Crozier as being the son of Robert and Susannah Woodward.  Which child of Andrew and Elizabeth do you descend from and are you on Ancestry?
