I am able to confidently trace my lineage back to John Maxwell (1783-1826), who married Beulah Reagin in 1808 and died in Newberry County, South Carolina. His siblings were Robert, Andrew, Jane, Virginia, and Susanna. Does anyone know his lineage going back to Scotland or Ireland? Turns out there were quite a few Maxwells living in South Carolina at the time!
