Your grandfather married my gtgrandmother, Laura V. Oakley Scott and was my grandfather's step-father.  He and Laura are buried in the Locksburg Cemetary.  I have a picture of their tombstone.  You should be able to get his death certificate which would most likely tell you where he was born and who his parents were.  Good luck.
