My John Maxwell, married to Mary Carson, both of Ire., had a son, Henry "Hank" Maxwell about 1730 in Scotland. About 1749, Henry married his cousin, Agnes Carson, who was the daughter of Walter Carson and Agnes Maxwell, of Ireland. Henry, Agnes, and Agnes' parents all came to America together.  Henry and Agnes produced Thomas Maxwell about 1760 in York County, Pennsylvania.  Thomas was my 4th Great-Grandfather.  Thomas married Jane Meek in 1785 in West Nottingham, Chester, PA.  I have it on the authority of my grandparents and my Mother themselves. :)  I have other details, but would like to know more about the Maxwell's and the Carson's and the Meeks.
