James Maxwell married Martha or Mary Baxter in Moneymore, County Derry, Ireland in 1814. James had been borne in County Derry in 1794 on July 12 and died in New York in 1853. James and Martha had six children that I know of: Jane 1814-1830, Elizabeth 1816-?, Isabella 1822-1842,Thomas 1824-? Joanna 1826-?,John 1828-1828. The family immigrated to New York between the birth of Elizabeth in 1816 and the birth of Isabella in 1822. I am looking for any information about James' siblings or parents. I have a good deal of information about the familly of James and Martha's son Thomas.
