Searching for my GGGgrandgather Joel Thomas Maxwell's parents.  Joel was born 1830, married Eliza Evelyn Brown(she was first married to Littleton), born 1828.  I believe they raised their children in Rock Prairie, MO, later moved to Harper Kansas.  Their children are named William, Thomas, Emma Elizabeth, born May 18, 1865 died December 15, 1952 (my family line) and Victoria.
