My G/GGrandmother was Anne Maxwell 1845 - 1909.  She married Simon Renwick in 1866 at Johnstone bridge Nr. Lockerbie.  Her parents were John Maxwell 1806 - 1884 and Mary Brown 1805 - 1878. My G/Grandmother....the daughter of Anne Maxwell and Simon Renwick...was Mary Anne Renwick born in 1868 at Johnstonebridge and died in 1940 at Lockerbie.  She married John Johnstone in 1887 at Johnstonebridge.  Please get in touch if you are researching the same family.
