Hi - rumour has it (from some relatives who did a lot of research into this, and I have NO idea how to get in touch with them), that, as well as being from the clan Maxwell, my gt,gt,gt,gt,gt (i think) grandfather was the son of the last baron Pollock-Stirling.. The only evidence for this that I have seen myself is a portrait in Pollock house, which bears a striking resemblance to my grandfather.. Anyway, any information would be much appreciated!
