My 1 brick wall is the above Alexander Maxwell who married an unknown Mary. There offspring were; Samuel H. b. 1844, Mary Charlotte, b. March 18, 1849 m. Joseph Mears William A. b. April 1851 Harry H. b. abt `1853 Francis Elmer b. 11 Aug. 1853 (my ancestor) who married Elizabeth Bassett. I've seen other Maxwell lines from this area that use the Elmer middle name, but havn't been able to make a tie.
