Hi John: Now that I have finished school I have time to concentrate on all the family history. I am assembling a note book to give to the kids. Mama gave me a lot of pictures and a lot of oral history. I just started on this - but am trying to connect the William Calvin Maxell line. Can't find a thing on his parents (John Robert Maxwell and Jennie Nettles Stallworth). I alway thought he and grandma (Mama Alice) were first cousins. Our daughter lived in Houston for two years, and we visited her twice. I got to see Ted and Dot and Carol and Tommy on our visits. Have been in touch a lot with Carol since Tommy's death. You met my husband at the last Brantely reunion. He is now in a nursing home. I kept him home for 3 years but it became impossible. On one of our trips to Montgomery, we saw Margaret and Bill (our motels were close). They can tell you that his mind is good. It was just the physical thing and not being able to understand what he said. Didn't mean to write a book. Love, Wren |
