I have just begun to research the geneology of my family.  I know that my father's maternal grandfather was William Maxwell, who had a brother Thomas.  They immigrated from Co. Donegal, Ireland arrived in Philadelphia, perhaps went to Lee, Mass. for a time until Wm. Maxwell settled in DuBois, PA area.  Wm. Maxwell was born about 1853 and died in 1934.  I found a baptism record for a Wm. Maxwell showing a baptism date of 4/25/1852, father's name Walter in Altaghderry, Co. Donegal Ireland.  Unfortunately, there was no mother's name listed.  The baptism records I looked at did not contain too many "Maxwells."  I was unable to find a listing for a Thomas Maxwell in the same baptism records with a father Walter.  I have pictures of two men who by their features appear to be related.  I have compared those pictures to a picture of a much older Wm. Maxwell and believe that one of the younger pictures is of him, leaving me to guess that the other picture is his brother, Tom.  I am told that my maternal great grandmother's name was "Kearney."
