I was browsing the web site and saw your posting.  I beleive that David was a brother to George A. Maxwell, my great grandfather. Their parents were John Maxwell and Elizabeth Small. I will add the children you mentioned to my geneology study. Some of David's children were probably born in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Tippecanoe is not a city.
