My g.g.grandmother is Sue Maxwell who married Dr. Thomas Jones Pickens Jr.  Her fsther was Samuel Earle Maxwell b. 1819 - d. 10-19-1884 & married Julia Susannah Keels. Both were from Pickens, SC.  Samuel's parents were John Maxwell & Elizabeth Hampton Earle from Pickens, SC.  John's parents were Gen. Robert Maxwell & Mary Elizabeth Anderson, both of Pickens, SC.  He was a Gen. in the Rev. war and was born in 1765.  Any further info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. My grandfather was Samuel Maxwell Pickens Jr. & my uncle (still living in Bim, WV) is Samuel Maxwell III.  Jerry Pickens
