My Great great Grandfather John Maxwell came from "Carrick, Newmarket, Donegal Ireland".  He died in Keokuk, Iowa.  His wife was Elizabeth Johnston of Edinburgh, Scotland.  He was born in 1832.  I know nothing more of his birthplace or his parents.  Where did you get your info?
