Yes, Anthony, there were the Maxwells whose mother's maiden name was Williams. These fellows changed their names and became the Williams Gang. They were written up in an old book that friends of my father jokingly gave to him. Their father was named Captain Maxwell and they appear to have come from Illinois in the 19th century. I have a copy of this book and would be happy to share more information with anyone interested.
