Greetings Randy, I don't know if this is just coincidence but I have an Uncle Randy Maxwell who farms in Grandview but resides in Headingly, MB.  By the way, I too live in Grandview Manitoba and I have spent many hours on the land that ol' Thomas homesteaded.  My dad Gary Maxwell, is the owner of the quarter section that we appropriately call the "Homeplace".  It has now been kept in the family for well over a 100 years.  I have also been trying to see how far I could travel back in time to see where our roots begin.  Now that I have recently found this site I think this will make the journey back a wee bit easier.  By the way, just to tell you a bit o' me self, I am married to Buffy and I have a son named Dawson.  We live on my Grandfather's (Lloyd Maxwell)farm and I am a teacher.  I enjoy playing hockey, quading, fishing and camping(backwoods campin')and just about anything outdoors.   Anyhow, I must be movin'on.                    Lance Maxwell                    Grandview, Manitoba
