Great to hear from you.  I have had a look at the Mormon records but they tend to confuse me a bit.  They show that in Boardmills, which I understand is in the Killaney Parish, there was both a James and a John MAXWELL and they were both married to a Sarah (TAMAHILL & TAMIHILL).  I haven't been able to find out, yet, the name of my GGG Grandfather, but those Mormon records did show a James (possibly my GG Grandfather) born to James & Sarah.  The birth date of 1806 for James, would fit approximately, as my G Grandfather John was born in 1835.  Another point of confusion for me is that on Johns Marriage Certificate, here in Australia, he lists Boardmills as his place of birth and then on the Birth Certificate of one of his daughters, my Grandmother, he lists his birthplace as "Carrick, Downshire", and I'm not too sure if Carrick is abbreviated for a longer name, e.g.Carrickmaddyroe.  I have been to Northern Ireland, but that was some years ago and I was not prepared for the difficulties involved in trying to trace my History.  When John married here in Aus. he married a "Lizzie" WILSON, who was also born in Boardmills, to Thomas McKnight WILSON and Jane (EDGAR).  Would appreciate any info from you that you would like to send.
