John Maxwell, born 1719, is my 6x great grandfather. I have yet to get very far in my research for his parents but my notes read that he was born in Ulster/Antrim Northern Ireland. He arrived in Philadelphia, PA USA in 1740*. He passed away on 17 Jan 1786 in Rockbridge, Virginia. I have his family listed as follows: - Mother: Patty  Audley, (1680) (more research needed) - Siblings: Audley Maxwell (1705) Thomas Maxwell - Spouse: Margaret Mary Ireland (1723) - Children: William (03 Jul 1743), James (15 Aug 1745), Thomas (28 Feb 1747), Rebecca (7 Aug 1753), John (1756), Audley Campbell (15 May 1761), Alexander (1765) I have a James Maxwell, born 1690 as his father but I have no sources for this and it seems it was a hunch I have yet to look into.
