I think I'm realted to the Maxwells you are looking for. (James) Audley Maxwell represented the Province of Savannah at the Gen-Assembly in 1751. He had a son James. Their home(according to my records) was Maxwell Point on the South end of Colonel Island near St. Simons, GA. They were supporters of the historic Midway Organization. Apparenlty there are a lot of James and Audley Maxwells. The ones I'm referring to here are supposedly descendents of Lady Audley Maxwell of Dumfries, Scotland. They were significant players in the early settlement of Georgia.
