Interesting. Well, that may be difficult to do since the authors of the book are most certainly dead, as are the people who provided the information. My source is the Coweta County Chronicles Edited and Compiled by Mary G. Jones and Lily Reynolds for Sarh Dickinson Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, The Stein Printing Company, Atlanta Georgia 1928. I'm merely working on the information I have. Considering we are discussing the lives of people who were dead and buried some 300 years ago I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss any information. We should be looking for simialiarities and connections and should not quickly dismiss any documented information. "Lady Audley" may not have existed, at least not by that exact name, but I believe there may be some truth in the "folklore" of the time that refers to her.
