I believe we have corresponded before and figured out that your Thomas Maxwell and mine are not the same. However, to answer your questions about Henry Maxwell m. Agnes Carson: I found a book in the public library called Ancestors by William Maxwell (who was a novelist) published in 1971. In it the author outlined his family history and his line goes back to Henry Maxwell, who married his cousin Agnes Carson. They had 7 sons, no daughters. Oldest son James b.1750s, Youngest son Robert b. 1767. Sons Thomas and Robert went west to Ohio in 1793. You may be able to find this book in your public library. It could fill in some gaps for you.
