| All over the world I have discovered towns, hamlets, water courses, bays, hills and other physical features called Maxwell. I think it would be nice to know and record who these Maxwells were that had places named after them. I understand that the town of Maxwell in Nebraska is not named after a Maxwell, but after a drinking well owned by a Mr Mac......, hence Mac’s Well. Can anyone confirm this? |
