I have gone back to about 1620 in my Scottish family history to Mary Hamilton born about 1620 in Scotland. She married Robert Alexander born abt. 1610 in Stirling Scotland. They had a son James Alexander born abt. 1634 in Bughall, Scotland, died11,17,1704 in Raphoe Ireland. he married Mary Maxwell born abt. 1634 in Raphoe. They married abt. 1645. They had a son James B. Alexander (The Weaver) Born abt. 1652 in Raphoe, died in New Munster, Maryland abt. 1719. His daughter Mary b abt.1693 in Cecial, Maryland married Robert Miller 1690-Scotland. Thier daughter Elizabeth Miller b-1726,d11-20-1805 in Caberas, North Carolina, married Adam Meek Sr. born 1729 Derry Ireland died 9-10-1817 in Mecklenburg N.C. Thier daughter Mary Meek b.12-4-1756 in mecklenburg d.4-14-1836 in Gallatin Sumner Tennessee. She married Joseph Wallace abt 1774 he was born in Duguesne Pennsylvania 8-6-1751, died 10-13-1820 in Gallatin, he may or maynot be from Scotland  his trail runs dry with his Grandfather Matthew Wallace II b.1672 in Sumerset, Maryland.
