Tina,

The BIGGEST news is that Francis Maxwell (aka Baron of Kirkconnell, Scotland) and our lines match 64/67.....so almost as closely related....his line is thru many Francis Maxwells listed in the Book of Carlaverock....he states that his grt gf brothers all went to Canada and are lost to his family...BUT the main thing to do is to find his known lineage and trace the brothers of his ancestors abt 8 generations ago.....

That will be our link ...my Thomas, Glenda's Andrew, Jesse Maxwell of NC to TN, poss Samuel ca 1740 of Phil, Pa etc.....unfortunately I'm out of town so I don't have any specific details....but that should be our common goal...to work forward from Scotland ca 1600-1650 or so....using the line of Francis Maxwell and tracing collateral (esp younger brothers).....
