I don't know of any family that doesn't have a skeleton or two in their closet. God made the Maxwell's just as human as anyone else on the planet. I have not traced my clan as back as a lot of you have. Much of my branch of our family tree, is still here in America. But, I have noticed something about the Maxwell's in America. Since the very first settlements in Virginia, to the Revoltanary War, and every other war and fight for freedom in America there were always Maxwell's right in the thick of it. So if it took our Scottish blood to be a part of making the greatest nation in the history of the world, I can forgive and yes even be proud to be a Maxwell. |
