I have in front of me right now some research that has a James Maxwell at the top of the sheet and the area where he lived was also Madison, AL.  I would if we have the same James Maxwell?  My records shows that he was a school teacher and married Jane Blackburn.  It states that he was from the area of Edinburg, Scotland.
