I am the granddaughter of Cordelia Maxwell Bell. She was the 16th child of Thomas and Margaret Maxwell.  Cordelia lived with her husband, James Bell in Berkeley, CA for many years. They had three children. Edward Bell (July 21,1916 to about 2000) Meyrick Meridith Williams Bell (March 20, 1919 to 1970) He was my father. Cordelia (Cordy)Jane Bell Doveri. Cordy and I see each other and talk on the phone regularly.  She lives in Edwards, CO.  I live in San Jose, CA. I was born Virginia Sue Bell. I was raised by my mother (Barbara Brown Bell Simpson) and step-father (Edwin Anson Simpson) in Saratoga, CA. My Aunt Cordy, my sister Bonnie (Barbara Ann Bell Jackson and my husband (Michael Keen Flowers went to Scotland in 2002 and got lots of information and pictures which I will be happy to share. My husband and I are traveling to Australia on May 4, 2013 to May 25, 2013.  We will be in Sydney and Melbourne.  We are going to meet Glenys Pond.  Glenys is the granddaughter of Annie Maxwell born 1886. If I hear back from you soon and you are still in NSW maybe we can all get together.
